At My Neighbourhood Montessori, I provide a safe and happy place where children aged 2.5 and up, can learn and grow emotionally, intellectually, and socially at their own pace. Children receive excellent individualized care and will have the opportunity to gain practice in language, fine motor, gross motor, math and self-help skills, as well as art, music, dance, and play.

I am dedicated to developing children's creativity, intellectual curiosity, self-control, and cooperation. Your child will be cared for in a respectful, loving, fun, clean, bright, and organized environment with the benefit of Montessori education.

About MNM

The program at MNM consists of a wide range of activities including the 5 basic Montessori areas of curriculum: Practical Life, Sensorial, Language Arts, Math and Culture, but also songs, story time, art, music, dance and play. The schoolroom is carefully prepared to meet the needs and interests of each child and promote a love of learning, independence and confidence. The program is structured yet allows the children to explore at their own pace. It is this combination of structure and freedom that encourages the children's spontaneous curiosity and introduces them to the joys of learning. Nutritious snacks are provided each day. The children who stay for lunch, enjoy their own packed meals. There is also daily outdoor play at the Columbus Parkette, which is conveniently located at our backdoor! I offer morning, extended morning (includes lunchtime) and full days, 5 days a week, for children 2.5 years and older. We follow the TDSB holiday schedule for seasonal and statutory holidays.
